FIZZ'S PLACE

A rear addition to an existing home in Mont Albert North. The addition consists of a new open plan living area, ablutionary areas and an outdoor area.

 

The Client’s brief specified that the surrounding landscape was to be a focal point. By extending the existing floor level to the sloped site, we were able to unlock a beautiful rear outlook. This allows the Client not only interact seamlessly with the rear landscape and bush like garden, but to have her sit amongst it.

 

The result is a clever, well lit design that respects its surrounding environment whilst improving the building’s passive conditioning ability with enhanced solar and ventilation performance. Responding to the brief, plus budget and time requirements. Fizz’s Place is an addition that has transformed the existing home in the way its occupants interact with its entirety.
